Troy Stuart a local surfer from Sydney's Bronte Beach was sitting on his balcony overlooking the beach and realised that 4 people were in trouble being swept out in the notorious 'Bronte Express' an extremely dangerous rip at the southern end of the beach. Troy and a handful of other surfers jumped into action, rescuing all the struggling swimmers and saving their lives. This was late afternoon and the rescue services had packed up for the day, luckily Troy and the other surfers were on-hand and ready to help using their boards and proven board rescue techniques to save their lives.
